Working for nearly 20 years in the minerals processing industry with a specific focus on pelletizing, I recognize big changes in the execution models of such projects.

Whilst the technology is further maturing and customers have gained more experience in building and operating pelletizing plants, the requirements are changing to achieve shorter execution times, lower investment cost and much higher degree of localization.

The challenge of technology providers today is to provide first class process technology and allow the customers to create their own value chain in terms of supply of machinery and local fabrication.

Customers for pelletizing plants know then ever what they want and where value is added by technology providers and where not.
