Pelletizing: Successfully-past, bright future
Agglomeration is an established process step in the production of iron and steel:
the first pelletizing patent has been registered in 1912 in Sweden. So, it is even more exciting seeing the technology coming to new popularity with the increasing efforts to fight climate change and decarbonize the iron and steel industry.
Pelletizing is also the answer to depleting iron ore resources and the processing of fine concentrates and ores.
It is therefore the technology for a bright future.
